Shooting of the "Only the hand..." performance in Italian (Solo la mano...) in Macchiagodena, Italy in May 2008. For the first time, this performance was done with three screens, the left screen was showing an earlier English version, the right screen was showing an earlier French version, and on the center screen there was the Italian version being made live. The recorde music was by Stefan Smulovitz.
Tournage de la performance «Seule la main...» en langue italienne (Solo la mano...) à Macchiagodena, en Italie, en mai 2008. Pour la première fois, cette performance se déroulait sur trois écrans. Sur l'écran de gauche, une version anglaise préexistante était projetée, sur l'écran de droite, une version française, et sur l'écran central, on pouvait voir la version italienne faite en direct. La musique préenregistrée est de Stefan Smulovitz.

Extract of a 14 min. film engraved directly on 35mm black leader, with music by Fred Frith, that was made out of footage that was originally done to accompany a dance piece by Rodalind Newman which was premiered at the Joyce Theater in New York in 1987. The film won a Bessy Award for the best set design. The autonomous film was completed in 2005.

It is a meditation about the statue of Giordano Bruno, the Italian philosopher that was burned by the Inquisition on the Campo dei fiori, in 1600.
