Only the hand… and Glaces (Floating ice)
Those two pieces are proposed as solo performances but they also may be presented as duets with the concerned musicians (Stefan Smulovitz for Only the hand… and Pierre Duchesne for Glaces). Each of the pieces last 35 minutes. The combination of those two in one evening with a twenty minutes intermission makes a balanced program. But any of the two can be presented separately if it fits the context better. Both are conceived preferably for a three video projectors setup but when the technical conditions do not make multiple screens possible, they can also be projected on a single screen without problem. The spatial setup of the performance is equally flexible depending on the venues. It can be setup facing the audience on a stage, or within the audience, facing the screen in cases where the spectators could easily walk behind the performer(s) to look over his shoulder.
